John H. Deem

John H. Deem, 94, of Beaver, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at Concordia Villa St. Joseph. Born January 17, 1927 in Midland, he was the son of the late Harry and Thelma Boyd Deem. John was a veteran of the US Navy and served during WWII. He attended Bridgewater Presbyterian Church and was a member of the American Legion, as well as the Masonic Lodge in Monaca. John was retired from the mill maintenance department at St. Joe’s Zinc/Horsehead Industries. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Theresa McLaughlin Deem, two brothers, James C. Deem and Harry M. Deem Jr, and his sister, Florence (Dolly) Bundy. He is survived by a son, James (Juliette) Deem; daughter, Barbara (Bob) Williams; three grandchildren, Molly Briscoe, Jessica Deem, and Jenna Deem; and great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Forest and River Briscoe. Friends will be received Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 2 PM to 6 PM in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. where a funeral service will be conducted Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 11 AM.
