John "Rich" Hendricks

John “Rich” Hendricks, 81, of Economy Boro, passed away on November 15, 2023, at Concordia at Villa St. Joseph, with his loving wife by his side. Born on November 14, 1942, in Ambridge, he was the son of the late John P. and Evelyn Hendricks. Rich had worked as a customer service representative for Columbia Gas, as well as the PA Boat and Fish Commission for many years. Rich was a member of Economy United Methodist Church, and an avid fisherman and hunter. Along with his parents, Rich is preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Paquet. Rich will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 61 years, Sandra Johnke Hendricks; son, Jeffrey Hendricks; granddaughters, Monica and Heather Hendricks; numerous nephews and their wives; and many loving friends. As per Rich’s wishes, no public services we held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rich’s name to Economy United Methodist Church, 350 Strange Road, Freedom PA 15042.
