John Wilson

WILSON, John, of Disputanta, VA, was 95 years old when he passed away on Friday, May 8th, 2026. Born in Beaver, PA, he was the son of the late Benjamin Wilson and Elizabeth Peters Wilson. He was preceded in death by his first wife Druzilla Wilson; two sons-in-law George V. Sims and Mark Emil Tiderman; and a grandson George Aaron Sims.

He was a member of the Merchants Hope Episcopal Church, a Brighton Township Supervisor, a member of the Richmond Little Red School House, a member of the St. James Masonic Lodge – (32nd Degree), served on the Prince George County Industrial Development Authority, and was a graduate of Staunton Military Academy.

He is survived by his second wife Lilian Cros Wilson; a daughter, Victoria Lynn Vaden (husband Danny Vaden); a daughter Sandra L. Sims; a daughter Bonnie A. Davis (husband Richard A. Davis); a son, John A. Wilson, Jr. (wife Denise Wilson); a daughter Peggy L. Tiderman; a step-daughter Cynthia Cros White (husband Christopher); a step son John T. Cros; nine grandchildren and their loving spouses; 4 step-grandchildren, a brother Benjamin B. Wilson, Jr. (wife Carol Wilson); a sister Jane Smyda, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A grave-site memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the Beaver Cemetery, Beaver, PA 15009, joining mom and dad back together again. Arrangements by Noll Funeral Home, Beaver, PA 15009.
