Joni Rae Corak

Joni Rae Corak, 38, of Monaca, passed away on October 6, 2021, with her family by her side. Born on March 19, 1983, to Paul and Leslie Corak, Joni was Lutheran by faith, and a 2001 graduate of Monaca High School. She went on to attend New York University, having studied in both New York and Paris, she then went on to attend a graduate from UNC Wilmington with a degree in English and Creative Writing. Joni’s greatest passions in life were reading, creative writing, amateur photography, and her dogs. She is preceded in death by a brother, Archie Paul; Grandparents, Ray and Mona Blackwood, and her super fan “Aunt Mine”, Martha Vogel. Along with her parents, she is survived by her loving, life partner and best friend, David Michewicz, and his children, Joseph, Laurie, Landon, Rachel, and Jeffry; brothers, Matthew and Kelly Corak; as well as numerous loving Uncles, Aunts, cousins, friends, and especially, her dog, Penny Louise. Friends will be received on Sunday October 10, 2021 from 2p-6p in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver PA 15009, where a funeral service will be conducted on Monday October 11, 2021 at 11am.
