Joseph M. Baich, 80, of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Midland, passed away unexpectedly at his Beaver residence Monday, July 1, 2019.
Born November 22, 1938 in Rochester, he was a son of the late Michael and Ann Medich Baich. A 1956 graduate of Lincoln High School, Joseph went on to serve proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps and graduate from Youngstown State University. He began his stellar career with Ford Motor Company in Louisville, KY, but quickly realized his true passion was real estate. Joseph became a licensed real estate broker in Florida, South Carolina, and Missouri. As president of MMI, Joseph generated over $100 million in land, condominium, and time share sales in the United States and Mexico. He consulted on projects throughout the U.S., and for two years, acted as marketing director and advisor to one of the largest banks in Mexico. He was active in the American Resort and Residential Development Association, and was well known for his affiliation with many quality resorts such as the Wellington Polo Club, FL, Stillwaters Resort, AL, and the Diamond Head Corp. and Cancun Clipper Club, Cancun, MX.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 56 years, Lola Lona Baich; along with his sister, Ann Barbara Mercadante, Vanport Twp., and many more brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and godchildren who all greatly loved Joseph.
