Joseph Kidda, Sr. of Brighton Twp passed away on his 84th birthday, Friday, December 25, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley, Beaver with his family at his side.
Born December 25, 1931 in Coaldale, PA, he was a son of the late Andrew and Anna Kidda and had lived in Beaver County over 40 years. He had retired in 1990 as Plant Superintendent at Superior Drawn Steel, Monaca having previously worked at Youngstown Sheet and Tube. He was a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering and was a proud veteran of the US Navy having served during the Korean War. Joe was a member of the Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver and was an avid golfer, having belonged to Deer Trails Country Club, Industry and the former Beaver Valley Country Club.
Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Beatrice L. Valent Kidda, a son, Joseph, Jr., (Debbie) Kidda, Chippewa, 2 daughters, Barbara (Bruce) Linville, Ellwood City, Jill Puskaric, Brighton Twp., numerous brothers and sisters, 3 grandchildren, Bryan (Amber) Linville, Jenny and Jeff Puskaric, and 2 great grandsons, Benjamin and Bowen Linville.
Preceding him in death besides his parents were several brothers and sisters.
Visitation and a Blessing Service were held privately as per his wishes. Entombment followed at the Beaver Cemetery Mausoleum. Arrangements were conducted by the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joe’s name to the Good Samaritan Hospice, or to the Beaver County Humane Society.
