Joyce E. Walls

Joyce E. Walls, 85, of Brighton Twp., passed away on November 30, 2017 peacefully in Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver. Born on May 25, 1932 in Altoona, PA, to the late Chester and Marie Sweet, she worked at several offices in Beaver County as a secretary and was affiliated with the First Presbyterian Church of Beaver. She was active as a volunteer at the Medical Center Beaver and the Meals on Wheels of Rochester. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Walls; three sisters; and two brothers. Joyce will be greatly missed by her husband of 66 years, Richard Walls; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Sandy Bonnar of Brighton Twp.; a grandson Keven Bonnar of Brighton Twp.; a granddaughter, Susan Patronik and her husband David of Buffalo, NY; a great- grandson, Joshua Patronik; a great-granddaughter, Anna Patronik; and a sister, Nellie Sypherd of Florida. As per Joyce’s wishes, visitation and a funeral service conducted by her pastor Reverend Jeffrey Arnold, were private.
