Judy Lewis, 75, of Beaver, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley, Beaver.
Born December 16, 1942 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Leon and Ann Dean. Before the birth of her first child, Judy was employed by P&LE Railroad, and as a secretary for the President of Pittsburgh Brewing. She loved spending her winters in Florida, and in her spare time when younger, competed in the Women’s Division of the Corvette Club of Western Pennsylvania. Judy also took great pleasure in playing the piano for her family and friends.
Judy will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of 53 years, William Lewis, Beaver; two sons, Bret (Beth) Lewis, Clinton, PA, and Bradley Lewis, Cary, NC; one daughter, Deanna (Drew) Mahkovec, Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, Curt Dean, Brunswick Hills, OH, and Jack (Judy) Dean, Wimberley, TX; one sister-in-law, Carolyn Lewis, Brighton Twp.; three grandchildren, Madison, and twins, Mason & Lucas Mahkovec; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, Larrye Lou Dean, and Evelyn Williams; and one brother-in-law, Clifton “Packy” Lewis.
Friends will be received Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver where a service will be conducted Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. by Pastor Mark Boyd. Interment will follow at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
