Julia Yasnich Cronin, 91 of Ohioville, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 surrounded by her family. Born November 19, 1926 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Helen Mihailovich Yasnich and was a member of the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Midland. Preceding her in death was her husband, William C. Cronin in 1993, 3 sons, William C. “Chip” Cronin II in 1993, Stanley “Butch” Cronin in 2001 and Daniel Cronin in 2010. She was also preceded by her sisters, Mildred Veglia Robinson, Stella Peacock, Rose Yasnich, and Mary “Mutsy” Majestic. Surviving are 2 grandsons, Daniel Cronin II, Midland, David (Angela) Cronin, Chester, West Virginia , 7 great grandchildren, a great great grandson, and numerous cherished nieces and nephews, Friends will be received Tuesday from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm in the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Midland by Father Dejan Barac, interment will follow at the Beaver Cemetery. A Pomen will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 11:30 am. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 30 10th St, Midland, PA 15059.
