Karen Lee Smith

Karen Lee Smith, 59, of Midland, passed away surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, March 12, 2019.

Born April 22, 1959 in Rochester, she was a daughter of George Davis, Midland, and the late Frances Roman Davis. A resident of Midland/Industry all her life, Karen had retired from Friendship Ridge, Brighton Twp., after 4 years in the Dietary Department. She had formerly worked at the Corner Scoop, and attended St. Blaise Parish, Midland. A loving mother and proud grandmother, Karen will also be remembered as an avid Steeler fan.

In addition to her mother, Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Smith, in 2000.

Along with her father George, she will be greatly missed by her son, Brian Smith, Richmond, VA; daughters, Kristen Donnelly, Monaca, and Brittany (Brett Parker) Smith, New Sewickley; one brother, George (Marnie) Davis, Ohioville; sister, Diana (Dan) Kennedy, Industry; three grandsons, Cory and Brady Earhart, and Cayden Parker; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received during a memorial visitation Friday, March 15, 2019 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Blaise Parish, Midland. Interment will take place later at Beaver Cemetery.
