Karen Johnson Wilcox, 82 of Beaver, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at UPMC Passavant Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Born September 7, 1939 in New Brighton, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Helen V. Owen, Robert D. Owen and George J. Toth. She worked as a Airline Stewardess for Allegheny Airlines, was a Dental Administrative Assistant for Dr. William Logan, New Brighton, Pennsylvania and was an in-home Hairdresser for over 30 years in her Rochester home. She was a member of the Vanport Presbyterian Church, Beaver, Pennsylvania, for over 60 years. She sang in the choir and was also a previous Elder. She played with her beloved friends in their 500 Card Club for 55 plus years, was a previous member of the Rochester Elks, and a lady bowler at the Beaver Valley Bowl in Rochester, Pennsylvania.

Karen was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She loved going to bingo, singing, dancing and spending time with her family and friends. She loved dressing up in holiday outfits. She always spent special time with her best friend Barb Rosensteel, (Larry), Monaca, Pennsylvania to decorate cakes, do crafts, bake Christmas cookies and decorate each other’s houses for the holidays.

Karen is survived by her loving Husband, Thomas L. Wilcox, a daughter, Tammie J. Nicoletti, Beaver, Pennsylvania; a son, Thomas E. Johnson (Kathleen) Wind Gap, Pennsylvania, and a step daughter Yasmemin Kanell (James) Beaver, Pennsylvania, sister, Vicki Porto, (Richard), Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, brother Robert Owen, (Nancy), Rochester, Pennsylvania, three grandchildren, Tyler Nicoletti, Beaver, Pennsylvania, Ryan Johnson, Wind Gap, Pennsylvania and Brooke Johnson, Wind Gap, Pennsylvania, three step grandchildren Alex Kanell, Beaver, Pennsylvania, Kyle Kanell, Beaver, Pennsylvania and Brandon Kanell, Beaver, Pennsylvania. In addition, she is survived by her nephews and nieces, Richard Porto (Karen) Melbourne, Florida, Darin Porto, Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, Richard Owen (Jody), Beaver, Pennsylvania, Robert Owen (Drew), Holly Springs, North Carolina, Mark Owen (Phyleischa), Winter Garden, Florida, Carey Owen, Port St. John, Florida, Kim Johnson, Anoka, Minnesota, Richard Johnson, Scottsdale, Arizona and her many beloved cousins.

In addition to her mother, Karen was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas N.(Flub) Johnson, Beaver, PA in 2012 and her brother Phillip E. Owen, Cocoa, Florida in 2016.

Friends will be received on Saturday, December 18, 2021, from 2 p.m. until the time of the church service at 4 p.m., conducted by the Reverend Dr. Judy Angleberger, at the Noll Funeral Home, Inc. 333 Third Street, Beaver, PA. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com.
