Karl B. Springman, 75 of Brighton Twp., passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Heritage Valley, Beaver, Pennsylvania. Born December 20, 1946 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Gervase E. and H. Louise Luckner Springman. Karl had graduated from Altoona High School in 1964 and was a proud veteran of the US Airforce and recipient of the Purple Heart during the Vietnam War. He retired in 2008 after having served 40 years as a mechanic with Ashland Oil Company. He had been a resident of Brighton Twp. for 48 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 54 years, Jane Sweitzer Springman, a son, Karl (Sundy) B. Springman, Jr. of Beaver, Pennsylvania; daughter, Julie (Steve) Allison, Beaver, PA; cherished grandchildren, Jeffrey and Bradley Allison, Sheridan and Samantha Springman; a brother, Paul J. (Sonni) Springman, Alpharetta, Georgia; sisters, Patty (James) Cole, Economy, PA, and Barbara (Wayne) Croyle, Zelienople, PA; sister-in-law, Judy (Karl) King, Altoona, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday, January 10, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, PA 15009. A funeral service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church, 45 Maple Drive, Beaver, PA on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM, followed by full military rites by the Beaver County Chapter of the Vietnam Vets of America. Private Interment will take place at the Beaver Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made if desired in Karl’s name to Hope Lutheran Church, 45 Maple Drive, Beaver, PA 15009.
