Katherine A. Rosepiler Amthor

Katherine Anne Rosepiler, 85, of Industry passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Rochester Manor and Villa, Rochester.

Born September 14, 1930 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Ludivika Amthor. Katherine had been a resident of Industry most of her life and worked as a secretary in the parts department at Bob Stout’s Garage for many years. After retirement, she was a dedicated Avon Lady for the Industry area, winning many sales awards. What Katherine loved most was farming, gardening, and polka dancing with her husband Stephen R. Rosepiler who still resides at Rochester Villa. Katherine and Steve recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary August 20th with an intimate dinner hosted by the staff of the Villa.

Besides her husband Stephen, Katherine is survived by her son, Thomas (Joyce) Rosepiler, Industry, two grandsons, Joseph Rosepiler, Ohioville, and Stephen (Amy) Rosepiler, Marysville, OH, two great grandchildren, Tommy and Isabella Rosepiler, Marysville, and many loved nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Avenue, Midland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Fr. Michael Yaksick at St. Blaise Parish, Midland, Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 10:30 am. A private interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry.
