Kathleen L. Mcintosh

Kathleen L. McIntosh, 58, of Leander, TX, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on September 9, 2017, following an extended period of ill health.

Born October 22, 1958, she was a daughter of Dolores Ballack McIntosh, Beaver, and the late Walter E. McIntosh. A former Beaver resident and 1976 Beaver Area High School alumna, Kathleen graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1980. She was a career criminologist who focused on probation and parole, with more than twenty years of public service, retiring in 2008 as Deputy Director of the Texas Criminal Department of Justice.

In addition to her mother Dolores, Kathleen will be greatly missed by her two sisters, Leslie Gasior, Center Township, and Leigh A. (William Witkouski) McIntosh, Brighton Township; her brother, Stuart E. McIntosh, St. Paul, MN; a nephew and two nieces, Jason (Emily) Gasior, Jennifer Gasior, and Shannon Witkouski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Saints Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver, where Kathleen was a former member. A private inurnment will follow at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver. Arrangements have been entrusted to Noll Funeral Home, Inc., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
