Kenneth A. Dobbs

Kenneth A. Dobbs, 85, of Beaver, passed away peacefully, on May 10, 2024. Born on November 1, 1938, in Grand Rapids, MI, to the late Peter and Julia Bowkamp Dobbs, Ken was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He graduated from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, MI, with a Masters Degree in Music Education; he went on to teach at various Christian Schools. Ken also spent a portion of his career with the World Home Bible League. Ken was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church, and spent a lifetime committed to church leadership. He was passionate about, and dedicated to, making sure people had access to the word of God. He was a “Gideons Gideon” having served and led in that ministry for more than twenty years. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carol. Ken will be sadly missed by his son, Kraig (Donna) Dobbs; daughters, Karen (Scott) Kuiper, and Kathy Dobbs; grandchildren, Gage (Leah) Dobbs, Aiden and Sydney Dobbs, Karly (Brandon) Worley, and Joshua and Jonathan Kuiper; and great-grandchildren, Karmen Worley, Theodore Dobbs. Friends and family will be received in the Round Room of First Presbyterian Church, Beaver, Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 4:30 p.m. until time of service in the sanctuary at 5:30 p.m. Professional arrangements have been entrusted to the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, PA 15009.
