Kristin Farland of Beaver, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Heritage Valley, Beaver.
She was the daughter of the late Robert and Eleanore Herbert and had been a resident of Beaver for the past 31 years. Kristin retired from J & L Steel and was the owner of Whimsical Moods Antique Shop in Vanport Township. She was a member of the Christian Assembly Church, Ohioville, Commodore Perry Yacht Club, Erie, and the Merrick Art Gallery in New Brighton.
Surviving Kristin is her husband of 57 years, Edwin Farland, a step-brother Donald (Kathleen) Free, Wheeling, WV, a sister-in-law, Lois (Charles) Hall, Seguin, TX, several nieces and nephews, and one special aunt, Lois Fiscus of California.
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother Naomi Herbert, 2 sisters-in-law, Dolores Shearer and Judith Farland, and a brother-in-law, David Farland.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a service will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 am by Pastor Bill Anzevino. A private interment will take place at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Township. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
