Lawrence H. Flick

Lawrence “Larry” H. Flick, 79, of Economy Borough, passed away March 3, 2021 at Concordia Villa St. Joseph, lovingly surrounded by his wife and daughters. Larry was born at home in Allison Park, PA on August 29, 1941 to Lawrence H. Sr. and Betty K. Flick. Larry was a graduate of Hampton High School and earned an Associate Degree from Waynesburg University. His sales career in home furnishings spanned many decades. Larry was an avid reader who also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Nascar racing. His favorite role, however, was that of “Pappy.” Larry treasured any time spent with his grandchildren; whose lives were deeply touched by his gentle and caring love. Larry is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 52 years, Judy E. Flick. He will be dearly missed by his daughters, Amy Mrkonja (Mike) of Cranberry Township and Rebecca Dixon (Jay) of Reno, NV, as well as his grandchildren Eric and Cole Mrkonja and Leah and Aubrey Dixon. Larry is also survived by his sister Barbara Yaunt, and brother Gary Flick. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his infant twin grandsons, Joshua and Jason Dixon, and brother-in-law, John Yaunt.
