Lawrence P. Marks

Lawrence Paul Marks, 78, of Industry, passed away on July 30, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospice Beaver.

Born on July 13, 1941 in Pittsburgh, to Ruth Marks and the late George Marks, he was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. Larry worked as an airline mechanic and also was a member of P.I.A.A Soccer, W.S.S.A, B.A.S.S Fishing Club, B.A.D.D.,V.F.W, and American Legion Post 0945.

Along with his father, he is preceded in death by a sister, Janet Bolsen; and a son, Lawrence Marks Jr.

Larry will be sadly missed by his wife, Debra Marks; his mother, Ruth Marks, of Pittsburgh; daughters, Kristy (Josh) Marks Jarvis, and Kerry (Bobby) Marks Gaskin, all of Georgia; brothers, Donald Marks of California, George Marks Jr. of Texas, and Jeff Marks of Pennsylvania; a sister, Jeanine (Richard) Space of Pennsylvania; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Brian and Diane Inge of Ohio; grandchildren, Cameron Gaskins, Brennon Gaskins, Daniel Jarvis, and Ian Jarvis; nephews, Justin (Judy) Marks, George E. Marks, Corey Marks, Joshua Space, Ryan Space, Aaron Bolsen, Jason (Rebecca) Bolsen, Vincent Marks, and Andrew Marks; a niece, Ruthann (Dennis) Binder; and numerous cousins and friends.

Inurnment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Friday August 16th, 2019 at 12:30pm with Full Military Honors conducted.
