Lawrence G. Polce

Lawrence G. Polce, 80, of Industry. On June 30, 2017, we lost a beautiful soul, husband, father, grandfather, and amazing man and friend to all.

He was a son of the late Louis J. and Elsie Polce and was born on December 25, 1936. During his lifetime, Larry had many achievements. Some of these include becoming Exalted Ruler of BPOE #283, Rochester, becoming a Past District Deputy of the West District Elks for the State of Pennsylvania, and the Youth Activity Chairman for the Elks. He had a passion for community service serving as a former Western Beaver athletic booster/sponsor, having served as a former Industry Borough Councilman, and a former board member of Western Beaver’s Vocational Technical School. Larry proudly served as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector at St. Blaise Parish, Midland. He had graduated from Rochester High School and later retired after 40 years working at ValSpar in Rochester. Larry also had together with his wife, volunteered at the YMCA youth program.

Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Arlene Henry Polce; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Larry, Jr. (Annu) Polce, Long Island, N.Y,: David (Shannon) Polce, Texas, and Louis Polce, Industry and five cherished grandchildren.

As per his wishes, a Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, July 8, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Blaise Church, Midland, with his pastor, Father Michael Yaksick, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the BPOE #283, Rochester, PA or to the Beaver County YMCA.
