Lepper W. Priest

Lepper W. Priest, 86, of Bridgewater passed away Thursday morning, July 28, 2016 at his home with his family by his side.

Born October 19, 1929 in Molton, AL, he was a son of the late Quinton and June Priest. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Lepper had a long career with Westinghouse, Vanport Township, and was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Monaca Congregation.  In his spare time, Lepper loved to watch westerns and go back home to Alabama for visits.

In addition to his parents, Lepper was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Dolores P. Priest in 2000, and one son, Anthony Priest in 2015.

Surviving Lepper are three sons, Lee Patrick Priest and James R. Priest, both of Bridgewater, and Andrew (Aria) Priest, New Brighton; one daughter Roxann (Anthony) Pharr, Beaver Falls; one daughter-in-law, Glenda Priest, and seven grandchildren; Aletha, Tonya, Serena, Anthony, Jr., John, Jessica, and Shayla; and two great-grandchildren, Arthur and Zoee.

Friends will be received Monday, August 1, 2016 from 1:00 pm until time of service at 5:00 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver.  A private interment will take place at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver.  Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the wonderful staff at Heritage Valley Hospice including Barb, Sharon, Dr. David Vasil, and the other staff members. There are not enough words to say how grateful we are for all your help. You made his journey a memorable experience. Thank you for making him smile and understanding his sense of humor. And to the great people at New Brighton HDS, thanks to you and the sweet coffee, our days went a lot smoother.
