Lillian Dorothy (Kuna) Bradshaw, 91, of Aberdeen, NC, formerly of Bedford, VA and Monaca, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 26th.
Born November 12, 1933, in Monaca, Lillian was the daughter of the late John Kuna and Susanna Elizabeth (Majzlik) Kuna. Lillian attended Monaca schools and graduated from Monaca High School in 1951. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Monaca until becoming a member of Calvary Baptist Church upon her marriage to Donald Edgar Bradshaw in 1953. She actively served in her church throughout her life. Lillian was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to cook, was a talented baker, and dedicated many hours to cultivating beautiful flower gardens. One of her favorite hobbies was photography, especially capturing family events and arranging them in photo albums. She served as the Treasurer-Manager of CMPEA Credit Union, where she was instrumental in leading this organization to achieve many milestones. In later years, Lillian and Don moved to Bedford, VA where they enjoyed the beautiful scenery as well as the surrounding historical sites with family.
Lillian is survived by her four children – Donald Gary Bradshaw (Joan), Celestún, Yucátan, Mexico; Barbara Lee Brown (James), Ellerbe, NC; Ronald William Bradshaw (Lynn), Keller, TX; and Jeffery Alan Bradshaw (Carolyn), State College, PA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Carissa Shealy (Cyrus), Lexington, SC; Rachel Richardson (David), Ellerbe, NC; Ben Bradshaw (A.J.), Rochester, MN; Elizabeth Bradshaw, Austin, TX; Gregory Bradshaw, Howard, PA; Jeff Bradshaw, State College, PA; and John Bradshaw, Pittsburgh, PA; and four great-grandchildren, Gemma and Ethan Shealy, Lexington, SC, and Mira and Vanessa Bradshaw, Rochester, MN.
Preceding her in death, besides her parents, were her husband, Donald Edgar Bradshaw; four brothers, John William Kuna, Robert Stephen Kuna, Frank Ernest Kuna, and Edward Arthur Kuna, and one sister, Ethel Marie Palenkas.
Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. in Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
