Lola (Marzio) Vuckovich, 89, of Monaca, formerly of Industry, passed away at her daughter’s home, Tuesday, July 4, 2023, a day before her 90th birthday.
A daughter of the late Anthony and Carmela Marzio, Lola had been a resident of the Baden/Ambridge area, having worked in many capacities for 30-years at U. S. Steel, Ambridge. She went on to work at the Beaver County Courthouse, serving on the TIP staff for approximately 15-years. Lola was a faithful member of the former St. Christine Church, Industry, and Presentation Church, Midland.
In addition to her parents, Lola was preceded in death by her husband of 61-years, Bernard Vuckovich; sister, Mary Sperdutti; brothers, Tony, Rudy, Louis and Pepe Marzio; sisters-in-law, Carita, Lucy, and Margie Marzio, Rose Vuckovich, Cinnie VanFossen, Mutzie Stepanovich, Zecky Langone and Cucie Bulat; brothers-in-law, Nick, Pete, Mike Vuckovich, and Sam Sperdutti; nieces, Debbie Morgan, Sally Brooks and Penney Edge; and nephews, Nick Vuckovich, and George Edge.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Steve Vuckovich; daughter, Tracy (Roger) Bragg; sister-in-law, Helen Cubra; grandchildren, Connor Bragg, Hannah Cindrich, and Olivia and Victoria Wolfe; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Monday, July 17, 2023, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Blaise Church, St. Augustine Parish, Midland. Interment will follow at Beaver Cemetery.
