Loretta Joan Joseph Tilow

Loretta Joan Joseph Tilow, 85 of Cleveland, OH, formerly of Midland passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 in Cleveland.

Born December 26, 1931 in Midland, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Michelena Joseph. Joan was a faithful and devout Catholic. She had formerly been a member of the St. Blaise Parish family. After graduating from Midland High School, she left the area and worked as a model in Detroit. She later became a purchasing agent at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cleveland. Because of her caring and loving nature, she later owned and operated the Abbey Nursing Home, in Cleveland.

Preceding her in death besides her parents were four brothers, John, Ben, Bud and Andy Joseph.

She is survived by her cherished daughter, Carla Hanson, Walnut Creek, CA, a sister, Antoinette Fronzaglia, Waxhaw, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Sunday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. Friends are asked to meet at the St. Blaise Church Monday for an 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial conducted by Father Michael Yaksick.
