Louis G. Ulizio, 88, of Brighton Twp., passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
Born April 16, 1931 in Midland, he was a son of the late John and Concetta Ulizio. Louis graduated from Midland High School, going on to serve in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He continued his education at Geneva College, graduating as a civil engineer, soon to be employed by the Dravo Corporation where he had a long career until his retirement in 1991. A Brighton Twp. resident for 56 years, Louis was a faithful member of Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of nearly 65 years, Marion I. (Jergons) Ulizio, Brighton Twp.; four daughters, Denise Ulizio, Pittsburgh, Bernadette (Eugene) Matsook, Rochester, Lisa (Barry) Webb, Hoschton, GA, and Janine (Sean) Dailey, Salt Lake City, UT; along with four grandchildren, Jack and Hana Dailey and Shelby and Jeremy Webb.
In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his brothers, Anthony and John, Jr.
Friends will be received Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by his pastor, Fr. Robert Miller, Monday, May 6, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Beaver Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
