Louise C. Vanus

Louise Claire Vanus, 80, of Brighton Twp. passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born October 16, 1942 in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Claire and Louise McFarland. A resident of Brighton Twp. for most of her life, Louise enjoyed her daily crossword puzzles, trips to Mountaineer, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers. She will be remembered for her witty comments and sense of humor.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63-years, Richard M. Vanus, Sr. and her son Richard M. Vanus Jr.; and her brother, Louis C. McFarland.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Luanne (Kenneth) Wallace; grandchildren, Jordan Pucel (Sarah Gibson), Lindey (Timothy) Johnson, Kresten Wallace (Victoria Springer), and Karter Wallace; along with great-grandchildren, Theodore and Logan Johnson. Sher will also be missed by her dog Zoey.

Friends will be received Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A private service will be conducted Friday, September 1, 2023. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com
