Mabel I. Bruno

Mabel I. (Flasco) Bruno, 91, of Gulf Breeze, FL, formerly of Midland, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017.

Born August 9, 1926 in her Hammondsville, OH home, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Gladys Crowe. Mabel was a loving wife, caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and gracious friend, living in Midland most of her adult life until her son brought her to live by him in Florida. She was a faithful member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ, Industry, where she participated in the church’s women’s group, and also, the Sweet Adelines.

In addition to her parents, Mabel was preceded in death by her first husband, Sylvester Dimaggio, her second husband, John G. Flasco, and her third husband, Louis G. Bruno; a daughter, Connie Soltis; her three sisters and best friends, Kathleen Goleno, Gladys Clutter, and Phyllis Crowe; five brothers, John Curtis, Kenneth, Larry, George, and Ralph Crowe; along with several nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, John Curtis Flasco, FL and Anita Flasco, and stepson, Joseph Gary Flasco, OH; her youngest brother, Allen Crowe, OH; son-in-law Jay Soltis; four grandchildren, Ryan (Micki) Frances, Brandon (Anna) Flasco, Zachary (Kathleen) Flasco, Jenna Flasco (Dan) Federoff, Joseph Flasco and Michelle Goret; and great grandchildren, Nathan and Luke Flasco, and Kynli Frances.

Friends and family will be received Friday, August 25, 2017 from 4 pm until 7 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11 am at Oak Grove Church of Christ, Industry. A private interment will take place at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver.
