Mabel Dawson Fink

Mabel Fink, 87, of Beaver, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Celebration Villa of Chippewa.

Born on March 26, 1935 in Hanover Twp., Mabel was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Shamp Dawson. Mabel was a devoted mother to her son Steve during his lengthy illness, and was a nurse, retiring in 1997 from the former Friendship Ridge, Beaver.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Steve Fink of Beaver; brothers, Frank Dawson and Ray Dawson; and a sister, Hazel Johnson; niece, Joyce Standley Perri.

Mabel is survived by her sister, Elsie Dawson Standley of Brighton Twp., PA; grandson, Jeremey Fink of Summerville, SC; great-grandsons, Keegan Fink and Karson Fink of SC; numerous nieces and nephews; especially her special nieces, Karen Standley Guandolo and Gina Dawson, and her faithful four-legged companion, Scooter. She is also survived by her devoted friends, Debra Lindsay and Martha Steiner.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at College United Methodist Church, 345 College Avenue, Beaver, PA 15009 on Friday October 21, 2022 at 11am.
