Margaret H. Crumrine

Margaret McAlister Hall Crumrine, 80, of Brighton Township passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016.

Born December 31, 1935 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late William McAlister and Jean Fitzgerald Hall. Peggy graduated from Southern Seminary where she was president of her class and played collegiately as a goalie on the field hockey team. She was a member of St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Georgetown, PA, and had volunteered with the Heritage Valley Auxiliary, Beaver. Peggy displayed her love of animals by rescuing many cats and dogs in need.

Surviving Peggy are her beloved husband of nearly 55 years, Dr. Richard S. Crumrine, Brighton Township; one son, Rick (Pam) Crumrine, Jr. and one daughter, Jeannie (Kevin) Bingle, all of Beaver; four grandchildren, Bill and Abby Crumrine and Sarah and Elise Bingle, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her brother, H. Douglas Hall III.

Per her wishes, all arrangements were private with a service conducted by her pastor and friend, Fr. Carl Neely. Professional services were provided by Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
