Margaret Young

Margaret ‘Maggie’ Lewis Young, 87, formerly of Brighton Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 surrounded by her family at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley Beaver.

She was born to the late Thomas and Mary (Pollock) Lewis on November 7, 1930 in Aliquippa, PA. Margaret will be remembered as a loving wife, caring mother, and proud grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald W. Young in 2010.

Margaret will be greatly missed by her son, Ronald James Young, her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Ed Lamping, all of Beaver; her brother, Robert Lewis, TN; her sister, Leila (Bill) Swearer, Ligonier; her three granddaughters, Natalee (Sonny Bringol) Young, Beaver, Megan Lamping, Pittsburgh, and Chelsea (David) Shiveley, Beaver; along with her great-grandchildren, Hannah and Zachary Terkel, and Ethan, Riley, and Morgan Shiveley.

As per Margaret’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Interment at Beaver Cemetery was private. Professional arrangements have been entrusted to the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
