Marie A. Matteo

Marie A. (Susie) Matteo, 93, formerly of Midland, passed away on August 27, 2017 in Harrisburg, PA where she was currently residing. Born on October 25, 1923 to the late Anthony (Tony) and Angelina (DeCaprio) Nola, she is a member of St. Blaise Parish, and a former member of St. Anthony Club Auxiliary. Marie was a loving mother and housewife, who graduated from Lincoln (Midland) High School. She loved cooking, baking and hosting family and friends for the 4th of July Festival. Marie was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Augustine J. Matteo; a brother, Alexander (Sonny) Nola; and a sister Carmella Feld. Surviving Marie are her children Carol (David) Ranck, Patty Burkey, David Matteo, and Marie (David) Packan; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Sandy Mattei, sister-in-law, Anne Mattei, and numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
