Marie E. Udick

Marie E. Udick, 92, of Industry, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016, at Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born December 7, 1923, in Industry, and raised in Vanport, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Helen Mae Sullivan Muschweck. Marie had retried after working for 24 years at the Industry Post Office. A member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Beaver, she loved the outdoors. Her favorite activities were hunting and fishing with her late husband, and traveling to Florida in their motorhome.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was her husband, Jay Udick, in 2003 and four sisters, Grace Mikita, Mary Gerlock, Alice Muschweck, and Gladys Miller.

Surviving are three nephews, John (Karen) Mikita, Center Twp.; Bob (Marsha) Miller, New Brighton; Jeff Miller, Darlington; two nieces, Cheryl Garvey, New Brighton; Dee Dee (John) McDonald, Delaware, and their families. Also surviving are her good friends and neighbors, George and Diane and Chester and Tonya.

Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the NOLL FUNERAL HOME INC., 333 Third St., Beaver, where a service will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., conducted by her pastor, Rev. Freda Snyder. Private interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com .
