Marie Walton

Marie Walton, 93, of Industry passed away with her family at her side, Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab, South Beaver.

Born July 27, 1925 in Ambridge, she was a daughter of the late Mike and Annay Nemcsik. A resident of Industry all her life, Marie was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of 18. Active in her faith, Marie was a former member of St. Christine Church, and current parishioner of St. Blaise, Midland. She also enjoyed playing bingo on Friday nights at the Ohioville VFD.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul O. Walton in 1997; sisters, Dorothy Thorne, Anna Walko, and Irene Surowiec; and her brothers, Michael, John, and George Nemchick.

She will be greatly missed by her son, Paul O. “Butch” (Theresa) Walton, Jr., Industry; two daughters, Darlene McMillin, Industry, and Terri (Jeffrey) Whitt, Ohioville; nine grandchildren, Paul O. (Shannon) Walton, III, Ronald (Anna) Walton, Olivia (Steve Phillips) Walton-Phillips, Ken (Diane) McMillin, Melanie McMillin, Scot (Amy) McMillin, Patrick (Carmen) McMillin, Jeffrey (Carmen) Whitt, Jr., and Johnathan (Emily) Whitt; great-grandchildren, Austin, Tanner, Mason, Maddox, Mack, Owen, Lauren, Justin, Sydney, Julian, Taylor, Adam, Ryan, Jeffrey III, Stella, Brady, Liam, and Rosie, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Monday, October 1, 2018 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Michael Yaksick, Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 10:30 a.m in St. Blaise Parish 772 Ohio Avenue, Midland, PA 15059, followed by interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry.
