Marion I. Ulizio

Marion I. Ulizio, 86 of Brighton Twp, passed away early Saturday morning, October 31, 2020 at Franciscan Manor, Patterson.

Born March 24, 1934 in Midland, she was a daughter of the late Frank & Josephine Jergons. Marion was faithful member of the Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver. Over the years, she was fondly called by her nicknames, Jergs, Merty, Mare, Ma and Grammy. Marion will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. A woman of amazing talents, a wonderful cook, and an extraordinary baker, she had a way of always making life’s moments special for everyone.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was her husband of 65 years, Louis G. Ulizio, a sister, Veronica Drake and a brother, Frank Jergons.

She will be greatly missed by her four daughters, Denise Ulizio, Pittsburgh, Bernadette (Eugene) Matsook, Rochester, Lisa (Barry) Webb, Hoschton, GA, and Janine (Sean) Dailey, Yarmouth, ME.  She is also survived by her four cherished grandchildren, Jack and Hana Dailey, and Shelby and Jeremy Webb.

Friends will be received   Wednesday, November 4 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 at Saints Peter and Paul Church by Father Robert Miller.   Private interment will follow at the Beaver Cemetery.  Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marion’s name to the Saints Peter and Paul Church, 200 Third St., Beaver, PA 15009.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at Franciscan Manor and the hospice care team, especially Katie, Melissa, and Mike for the compassionate care they provided for Marion.
