Marjorie Knopp Kinter

Marjorie Kinter Knopp, 82, of Vanport passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 28, 2015.

Born June 9, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Lulu Kinter and had resided in Vanport Township and Beaver all her life. Marjorie retired as a unit clerk at Heritage Valley, Beaver after more than 20 years of service.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Eugene F. Knopp in 2011 and a sister, Joan Elsman.

She is survived by two sons, Brad (Francine) Knopp, Auburndale, FL and Kurt Knopp, Panama, one daughter, Sherry (John) Merriman, Brighton Township, a brother, Sam (Sue) Kinter, Japan, one sister, Joyce Steffen, Patterson Heights, and two grandchildren, Skyler and Noelle Knopp.

Friends will be received Friday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver where a funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Matt Reitz, Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:30 am.
