Martha M. Helmick

Martha M. Helmick, 87, of Beaver Falls, passed away early Saturday morning, November 17, 2018 at Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born February 8th, 1931 in Rochester, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Wayne H. and Martha Trumpeter Helmick, and step-daughter of Diane Kefalas Helmick. Martha’s career culminated after 37-years as an accountant with McCarl’s, Inc., Beaver Falls, PA. She will also be remembered as a devoted daughter, loving sister, and caring aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Martha was a faithful member of Beaver Alliance Church.

In addition to her parents and step-mother, Martha was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Wayne W. and Gayle Helmick; step-brother-in-law, Charles Halstead; and nephew, Douglas Besselievre.

She will be sadly missed by her step-sister, Katherine Halstead with whom she resided; nieces, Susan Besselievre, Beaver, Kristen (Michael) Nelson, Coraopolis, and Kathleen (Dean) Percey, Leesburg, VA; step-nephew, Jordan Peters, Baltimore, MD; his daughter and granddaughter, Krista Peters and Jordyn Peters; great-nephews, Ben (Abby) Helmick, and Zane Percey; great-nieces, Ashley (Chris) Rhoads, Kara and Marissa Nelson, and Zoe Percey; and great-great-niece and nephew Gracyn and Emmett Rhoads.

Friends will be received Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 11 a.m. until time of service, conducted by her pastor, Reverend Roland Gray, at 1 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver.
