Martha M. (Munroe) Simmons

Martha M. (Munroe) Simmons, 93, of New Brighton, formerly of Wadenna, MN, passed away on November 26, 2025.

Born June 5, 1932, in New Brighton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Milo and Ruth Nugent. Martha spent her life as a homemaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her husbands, John Munroe, and Donald Simmons; sister, Marion McConnell; brother, Jack Nugent; step-daughter-in-law, Karen Simmons; and step-son, Dave Simmons.

Martha will be greatly missed by her sons, John (Donna) Munroe, with whom she resided with; Kevin (Nikki) Munroe; Keith (Amy) Munroe; her daughter; Deborah (Clifford) Sellers; step-sons, Donald Simmons; Daniel (Terri) Simmons; step-daughter, Diana (Doug) Anderson; Step-daughter-in-law, Janelle Simmons; sisters, RuthAnn Drake, Phillis Spicer, and Betty McWhorter; grandchildren, Jake (Jenn) Munroe, Dakota Munroe, John Munroe, Frank Sellers, Vicki Sellers, James (Jessica) Sellers, and Clifford Sellers; great-grandchildren, John and Samantha Munroe, Levi Sellers, James (Paityn) Sellers, Raeann Sellers, Haylee Sellers; great-great-grandchildren Lucy and Greyson Komora. Martha will also be missed by numerous step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver.

Memorial contributions may be made in Martha’s name to Life Beaver Senior Center located at 131 Pleasant Dr., Aliquippa, PA 15001.
