Martha Nott

Martha ‘Ani’ Nott, 95, of Beaver and formerly of Port Charlotte, Florida, and Center Twp, PA, passed away at 7:40 AM, on October 25, 2018 in Brighton Rehab and Wellness Center of natural causes.

She was born on September 16, 1923 in Midland, PA. She was the daughter of Serbian immigrants, Djuro and Milka Marinkovic Zetz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Rudy, George, and Miles “Mishy” Zetz; two sisters, Mimi Chuldenko and Bojana         “ Berks” D’Apollonia; and an infant son, Jackie

She is survived by two sons, Professor Lee Nott (Debbie) and Dr. Tim Nott (Kimberly Germaine). She is also survived by her sister Helen Caffro and several nieces and nephews: Michael Caffro, Judy Zapsic, JoJo Knight, Dorothy “Tootsie” Burzenski, Rudy Zetz, James “Timbo” D’Apollonia, John and Joe Chuldenko, and Lara Jean Orlowski.

‘Ani’ was a graduate of Midland (Lincoln) High School (1942), Pittsburgh Beauty Academy, and earned an Associates degree from Community College of Allegheny County. She worked for fifty years mostly as a self-employed hair dresser and also at Horne’s.

She was an avid reader and Steelers fan. She loved traveling. Everyone who knew her remembers her as an outstanding cook and as an excellent host, and she took great pride in those two things. She had a great sense of humor. She loved the good life, picnics and parties with her friends and family, and card parties with anyone who loved playing cards.

Friends will be received on Monday October 29, 2018 in the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver PA 15009 from 11am until the time of service at 1PM with Reverend David Vaughn officiating. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com.
