J. Mary Caruso, 84, of Chippewa Township, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Heritage Valley – Beaver.
Born September 8, 1931 in Beaver Falls, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Monika Zebrowski Kondracki. A graduate of Beaver Falls High School, Mary worked in many capacities during her lifetime, finally retiring as a caretaker with Supportive Services at a city group home for those with various disabilities. She was a faithful member of St. Monica’s Parish in Beaver Falls, where she shared her talent for crocheting by making prayer shawls as part of the Shawl Ministry for the church. She also belonged to the Polish Falcons.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years Dominick F. Caruso, two sons, Mike (Tammy) Caruso, TX, and Paul (Barb) Caruso, Brighton Township, two daughters, Denise (Ray) DeSanzo, Darlington, and Patti Caruso Javens, DuBois, PA, eight grandchildren, Maureen DeSanzo, Todd (Beth) Javens, Rick (Lauren) Javens, Lauren (Sean) Kearney, Jessica (Ryan) VanLandingham, and Tyler, Abbey, and Sydney Caruso, along with nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Genevieve Venik and Blanche Benedetti, and five brothers, Walter Conrad, Henry Conrad, Stanley Kondracki, Charles Kondracki, and Joseph Kondracki.
A private visitation and Blessing Service was held at Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beaver Falls. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
