Mary Bonita “Bonnie” Lee, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 20, 2023. She was surrounded by the love of her family as she entered into her eternal home.
Bonnie was born on September 13, 1937, on the family farm in Ohio Township, Pennsylvania to Orbie and Martha Burdick. She grew up with a zest for life and a passion for helping others. Bonnie dedicated herself to being a loving mother to her two daughters, Lisa and Carla, whom she cherished with all her heart. She instilled in them the values of kindness, empathy, and perseverance, which Lisa carries with her to this day.
Bonnie found her greatest joy in being a grandmother, great grandmother and recently great-great grandmother She adored her grandchildren, Tiffini (Greg) Nicole (Todd) Billy (Danielle), Natalie, and Emily, and took immense pride in their accomplishments. She was a constant source of love, support, and encouragement. Her presence lit up their lives in countless ways. She shared in their triumphs and challenges, providing unwavering love and was never afraid to keep them in line.
Bonnie had a heart of gold and was always up for a game of cards or shopping at the “mall” with her niece Tawnie. Her kindness and compassion touched the lives of many and left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Bonnie will be deeply missed by her daughter Lisa Myers, sons-in-law Bill Springer & Patrick Myers, grandchildren, brother Sam Burdick and her extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, grandson, great-grandson and eldest daughter Carla.
Bonnie’s legacy of love, kindness, and card games will continue to live on in the hearts and lives of those she touched. As they mourn her loss, her family finds solace in knowing that she is now peacefully resting, surrounded by eternal love. May her soul rest in peace, knowing she left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she loved.
Friends will be received Friday, April 28, 2023, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. Interment will take place at Columbiana County Memorial Park Cemetery, East Liverpool, OH. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
