Mary Jane Monks, 88, of East Liverpool, OH, formerly of Midland, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022, at The Orchards of East Liverpool, OH.
Born July 5, 1933 in Midland, she was a daughter of the late John and Elsie Scarsella. Mary Jane worked as a document controls clerk with Stone and Webster, Shippingport, and was a faithful member of Saint Blaise Parish, Midland, where she served as a former president of the Saint Vincent DePaul Society. Mary Jane also enjoyed entertaining, golfing, and bowling in her spare time.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Monks; brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Dorothy Scarsella; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Ben Reindle, and Rose and Richard Stiffey.
She will be greatly missed by her sons, Drew (Beth) Miladin, Eric (Emily) Miladin, and Craig (Diane) Miladin; brother and sister-in-law, John and Jackie Scarsella; grandchildren, Tera Miladin (Paul) Turnsek, Paige Miladin (Jonny) Rosales, Chase Miladin, Brayden Miladin, Atlas Miladin, and Afton Miladin; along with great-grandchildren, Lydia and Landon Turnsek.
Friends will be received Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 1, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Blaise Parish, Midland. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
