Michael John Mulkerrin

Michael John Mulkerrin, 80, of Beaver, formerly of Wilkensburg, passed away April 10, 2026, at Passavant Hospital in McCandless.

Born June 18, 1945, in Mweenish, Carna, Co. Galway, Ireland, he was a son of the late Coilin and Mary Mulkerrin. Michael was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Saints Peter and Paul Church. He was a founding member of the Pittsburgh Irish Rowing Club, a member of Knights of Columbus, and a member of the Irish Centre of Pittsburgh, where he was a former President.

Along with his parents, Michael is also preceded in death by his brother, Colm Mulkerrin and sister, Una Mulkerrin.

Michael will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Margaret Connelly Mulkerrin; son, John Mulkerrrin; daughters, Maureen (Scott) Helfrich, Margaret (Chad) Hasychak, Michelle Mulkerrin; brothers, Joseph (Mary Pat) Mulkerrin, Peter (Catherine) Mulkerrin, Maitiu (Mary) Mulkerrin, Padraig Mulkerrin; sisters, Mary Ellen (Lily) Lindsey, Brid Mulkerrin, Sally (Ciaran) Folan, Nan (Josie) Cavanan; grandchildren, Dara Helfrich, Eamon Helfrich, Clare Helfrich, Nora Hasychak, Annabelle Hasychak; sister-in-law, Catherine Mulkerrin; uncle, Sean Mulkerrin; as well as many nieces and nephews and great-grandnieces and nephews in the United States and Ireland.

Friends will be received Friday, April 17, 2026, from 3 PM to 7 PM in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian burial will take place Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Saints Peter and Paul.
