Michael G Raich, Jr.

Michael George Raich, Jr., 75 of Monaca, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 24, 2015 in Chicago, Illinois.

Born April 19, 1940 in East Liverpool, OH, he was a son of the late Michael, Sr. and Mildred Chaste Raich. Michael was a loving father, husband, grandfather, uncle, and friend to all who knew him. He lived a happy and fulfilled life, and will be missed by many. His family finds solace knowing he is refereeing a football game, cutting the grass on his tractor, or playing Bingo at the Turners in Heaven. He was a faithful member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Midland.

Michael is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marguerite Tataseo Raich, 2 sons, Michael (Michelle) Raich, Camp Hill, PA and Matthew (Amanda) Raich, Detroit, MI, a daughter, Melissa Raich, Chicago, Il, a brother, Richard A. Raich, Industry, one sister, Georgiana (James) Hagey, Manassas, VA, 3 grandchildren, Emma, Julia, and Grace Raich, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Bernadette Raich.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Avenue, Midland, where a Pomen Service will take place at 7:30 pm. A funeral service will be conducted by Fr. Branislav Golic Thursday, October 29, 2015, 10:00 am at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Midland.
