Michael L. Schmidt

Michael Lee Schmidt, 25, of Brighton Township passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning, January 19, 2017. Born October 29, 1991 in Brighton Township, he was a son of Russel Lee and Michelle Higby Schmidt, Brighton Township. Michael was a 2010 graduate of Beaver Area High School and a welder through the New Castle School of Trades. He worked for Sewickley Construction Products, Sewickley and in his spare time, enjoyed the outdoors as an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his parents, Russel and Michelle, Michael will be greatly missed by his sister, Lindsey J. Schmidt, Brighton Township; maternal grandparents, Nelson “Butch” and Jacqueline Higby, Daugherty Township; maternal great-grandmother, Margaret Taglieri, New Brighton; paternal grandparents, John and Cheryl Schmidt, Armbrust, PA; paternal great-grandfather, Arnold Schmidt, Adamsburg, PA; his large, loving family including numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends; and his special pets, Bentley, Lucy, and Oliver. Michael will also be sadly missed by his beloved girlfriend Nicole L. Bobchak, Hopewell, whom meant the world to him and was the reason for the smile on his face the last few months. Friends will be received Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 2 pm until 7 pm in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A private blessing service will be conducted by Fr.
