Michelina "Mickey" A. Maroni

Michelina “Mickey” Maroni, 95, formerly of Midland, passed away on August 19, 2018.

Born on July 5, 1923 in Midland to the late Pietro and Marian Castelli and Felicetta Castelli, she was a member of St Blaise Parish in Midland and St. Blaise Parish Women’s Guild. Michelina was also a member of St. Anthony’s Women’s Auxiliary and a retired bank teller of Beaver Trust Company. While at Elmcroft of Chippewa, she enjoyed attending mass, praying the Rosary, and playing bingo. All who knew her will smile when they remember how much Michelina loved chocolate.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Maroni in 2014; two brothers and a sister-in-law, John and Joyce Castelli and Henry Castelli.

Michelina will be greatly missed by a sister, Marian Guerriere; a sister-in-law, Mary Castelli; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday, August 24, 2018 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Blaise Parish will be celebrated Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 10 a.m. by Fr. Howard Campbell. Interment will follow at Beaver Cemetery, Beaver.
