Nancy A. Tylka

Nancy A. Tylka, 86, of Brighton Twp., passed away peacefully on January 31, 2023, with her daughter by her side.

Born on December 28, 1936, in West Newton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Mae Harvey. Nancy was a resident of Francis Farmer for many years, and enjoyed being a part of the grandparent program at New Horizon School, Beaver. She was employed at the dry cleaners in Tusca Plaza, as well as having worked at Beaver Supermarket.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Blair Edwards (1961); her second husband, Joseph Tylka (1987); her daughter, Patricia Genevie (2018); and all of her siblings.

Nancy will be sadly missed by her children, Brenda McCracken, Joseph Tylka, and Steven Tylka; grandchildren, Ross (Linnea) McCracken, Keith (Alexis Delone) McCracken, David Genevie, and Daniel (Marissa) Genevie; great-grandchildren, Gianna, Elijah, and Montgomery; as well as beloved nieces, Donna (Joe) Schlegel, and Diana (Don) Ropp.

A Graveside Committal service will be conducted on Friday February 3, 2023 at 11am at the Beaver Cemetery.
