Nancy K. Vallecorsa

Nancy Kaletta Vallecorsa, 94, of Brighton Twp., passed away on December 30, 2022, at Brighton Rehab & Wellness. Born on January 18, 1928, in Dixonville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Metro and Catherine (Chombar) Kaletta, Nancy worked with her husband at Chuck’s Amoco Station and later they owned and operated Monaca Lanes for over 40 years. Nancy was a devoted wife and mother and will be remembered for her beautiful blue eyes, gorgeous smile, and fun loving laugh. She was a wonderful cook and loved tending to her garden for her fresh vegetables, flowers, and especially her roses. All of her family and friends looked forward to the dozens of pizzelles that she gifted to them at Christmas time. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Vallecorsa (2013); her son, Ronald Vallecorsa (2009); and thirteen of her siblings. Nancy will be sadly missed by her children, Linda (Tom) Yankello, of Brighton Twp., Cynthia Vallecorsa, of Brighton Twp., Charles Vallecorsa, of Brighton Twp., and Pamela (John) Phillips, of Cranberry Twp; a sister, Julia Brunkow, of Willowick, Ohio; grandchildren, Thomas (Tina) Yankello, Mark (Nina) Yankello, Nicholas (Jazmyn Charles) Phillips, and Alexis (Dillon Rice) Phillips; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Roman, Tommy, and Rocco; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
