Nicholas J. Rivelle

Nicholas J. Rivelle, 92, a resident of Midland most of his life, passed away on September 11, 2023. Born on December 10, 1930, in Wellsville, OH, he was the son of the late Dominic and Ann “Fusco” Rivelle. Nicholas was a faithful member of St. Blaise Church, St Augustine Parish and a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd Degree. A veteran of the US Army, serving with the 6th Armored Division during the Korean War. Nick retired in 2001 as a supervisor with the PA Turnpike Commission after over 30 years. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Dr. Frank Rivelle, and sisters, Mary DeSenze and Rose Granito. Nicholas will be sadly missed by his wife of 67 years Joann “Flasco” Rivelle; son, Nick Rivelle, Midland; daughter, Diann (Dr. Ron) Salvitti, Venetia; sisters, Lucille Drago and Maryann (Kim) Kennedy, both of East Liverpool, OH; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
