Ottis M. "Bud" Mccormick

Ottis “Bud” M. McCormick, 90, of Rochester Twp., went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Friday, March 4, 2022. He passed peacefully at home with loving family by his side. Born June 19, 1931, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Bud was a devoted Husband, a loving Dad, and proud Pap Pap and Great Pap Pap. He was the son of the late Ottis D. McCormick and Mary Frances Addis McCormick Koller. He was a resident of Rochester Twp. since 1967 and the last living McCormick sibling. Preceding him in death was his loving wife Eleanor “Ellie” M. McCormick. They were married for 68 years. She passed away September 25, 2018. He was also preceded in death by three sisters and two brother in-laws, Mildred (George) Mason; Ida (Robert) Sabatula; and Audrey McCormick as a young child; three brothers William McCormick; Kenneth McCormick; and Paul McCormick; and stepfather John Koller. Bud will be greatly missed by his three loving and devoted daughters, Judy McCormick, Rochester Twp.; Donna (Terence) Hughes, Sr., New Brighton; and Patricia (Mark) Johnson, Beaver Falls; three grandchildren, Terence Alan Hughes, Jr., New Brighton; Angela (Mark) Dailey, Rochester Twp.; and Patrick Johnson, Beaver Falls; and great granddaughters Isabella and Luciana Dailey. He will also be missed by Paul “Butch” Johnson who is a member of the McCormick-Johnson family; three sister in-laws and one brother in-law, Audrey McCormick; Malinda Newman; and June (Jack) Manor; as well as many nieces and nephews. Bud worked as a rigger-welder millwright for St. Joe Lead Company for many years. In his retirement, he worked as a bank courier for Century National Bank and Sky Bank. Bud had many interests including riding horses, watching horse-racing, watching Nascar, and attending car-racing events. In his younger years, he enjoyed taking his family camping and on adventurous vacations. After retirement, Bud and Ellie went to many weekend festivals in Ohio and Canada. Bud was artistically talented and excelled in whatever he put his mind to. He will be remembered for his sense of humor as he always found amusement in special moments with his family. A private memorial service will be held for immediate family at Beaver Cemetery and officiated by Pastor Richard Flatt, of Victory Family Church, Cranberry Twp., PA. A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place at a later date to be determined for family and friends. Professional arrangements have been entrusted to the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver.
