Pasquale Troia

Pasquale Troia, 91, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus with his family gathered around him on Thursday, December 14, 2023. He was born to Carmine and Anna (Leombruni) Troia in June of 1932 in Bagnaturo, Italy. He took care of his mother, brothers and sisters while his father served in the war. Pasquale moved to Caracas, Venezuela where he owned a trucking business that provided supplies for in-ground pools. He met and married Susan V. Buccini in Morgantown, West Virginia in 1957. They made a home and raised their family in Chippewa Township before moving to Lakeland, FL to enjoy their golden years. He moved to Beaver in 2019 to be closer to his children. He was a shuffleboard champ, playing in tournaments in Lakeland and England. He loved repairing things and creatively tinkering around the house, cooking and making his famous pizza and growing his garden. He was a great storyteller who loved spending time with his family most of all. He is survived by his daughter, Linda (Troia) Mollica; sons, Pat (Kristn Tessier) Troia, Timothy Troia, all of Beaver, PA and Terry (Debby) Troia of Stephens City, Virginia; his grandchildren, Gina (Steven) Rutkowski, Krista (Ben) Verney, Erika Troia, and Andrea (Bryan) Kress, Ryan (Melanie) Troia; his sisters, Giuseppina Santilli, Bice DelSignore, and brothers, Mario (Nancy) Troia and Giulio Troia and his nieces and nephews. Pasquale was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Susan in 2019, and daughter, Tammy Susan, in 2013; his brother Carlo Troia and sister, Vittoria Polce. Friends will be received Tuesday, December 19 from 3:00 pm until time of Blessing Service at 5:30 pm in Noll Funeral Home, 333 Third Street, Beaver.
