Patricia Balser

Patricia A. Balser, 86, of Midland, passed away early Thursday morning, May 11, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born September 21, 1936 in Midland, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Irene Varkonda Balint. Patricia was a lifelong, faithful member of St. Blaise Church, St. Augustine Parish, and active with the Christian Mothers Guild and the St. Vincent DePaul Society. She was an avid Steelers fan and especially loved spending time with her family. Patricia will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband and high school sweetheart, Jack D. Balser in 2013; daughter, Jill Beauverd; grandson, Robert Lee; step-father, John Novak; brothers, John and Robert Balint; and sisters, Elizabeth Chapman and Lenore Miller.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Hollie (John) Uccellini, Indiana, PA, and Stacie Waddingham, Moon Twp.; son, Jack (Patricia J.) Balser, Industry; son-in-law, Bud Beauverd, Mechanicsburg; sister, Carol Lancos; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Blaise Church, St. Augustine Parish, Midland. Interment will follow at Beaver Cemetery.
